Nature Odyssey supports Scientific Field Research on Birds of Sri Lanka and the many types of migrant species who visit the island during the northern winter in search of warmer climatic conditions. The Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka or FOGSL is a scientific research body, headed by Prof. Sarath Kotagama, based at the University of Colombo. They carry out island-wide surveys on the many types of birds including the migratory patterns of the winter visitors.

Nature Odyssey is a Corporate Member of FOGSL and we support their research studies by donating 20% of our souvenir sales as funding to continue their research.
