Nature odyssey began its journey in the year 2004 as the wild-life and adventure arm of Walkers Tours Ltd. Focusing totally on developing, designing and operating Nature Adventure & wild life travel, the mission of the company is “To be the best nature, adventure, sport and special interest tour operator in the region and to take all nature, adventure and wildlife enthusiasts to the many remote and breathtakingly beautiful biodiversity hotspots in Sri Lanka”.
The company has developed an exciting array of eco-friendly nature and adventure programs along the years and is staffed by a small, experienced closely knit team of specialists who intimately understand the needs of the niche Nature, Adventure and Wildlife enthusiasts around the world. Nature Odyssey continuously raises the bar with new experiences and products in order to provide its clientele with the best experience.
Nature Odyssey is much involved in up lifting the living standards of the rural population in Sri Lanka through CSR and community activities around the country. Nature Odyssey also highly believes in protecting the environment and therefore the team contributes towards sustainability and eco- friendly practices. Being the adventure arm of Walkers Tours Ltd, Nature Odyssey is proud to be the only nature & adventure operator in the country with the certifications of ISO 9001 and 14000 backed with the only carbon neutral fleet in Asia which includes a range of vehicles from cars to SUVs and large luxury coaches. For the spontaneous adventurer Nature Odyssey also has a its own camping gear, cycles, portable rafts, etc which can be arranged and included with its vehicles.
The company has been awarded the presidential award for two consecutive years in 2009 & 2010.
